Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN the first of his long-players with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album peaked at the rank of eighteen on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. He worked alongside Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in 2020 and the following year released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. The year 2021 was the first time he was in a duo with TINI for her hit stream track Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. Both his parents also played the guitar. In his interviews, he said the importance of music as a requirement. When he was a kid was playing the ukulele and piano. In spite of initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that taking lessons with an Cuban singing teacher would change the direction of his career.
